Nelson Mandela once said, “Our worst fear is not that we are inadequate.  Our worst fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.  It is our light, not our darkest, that most frightens us.  As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.”  He goes on to say, “You are a child of God.  You’re playing small doesn’t serve the world.  We are born to make manifest the glory of God within us.  As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.”

         We hope that as you browse this website you will see some evidence that we are a church that is playing it big – big in our faith, big in our community, big in the lives of our church family and big in the ways of peace, love and justice.  Imagine with us a church where you enter through the “wooden doors” and find a congregation that is “powerful beyond measure and a light to the world.”
